Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American actor and musician who made her name with witty lyrics that explored racial and sexuality with a boldly comic perspective. Then she moved on her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial music experience. She was a trumpet player. Also, she received instruction in jazz and classical before exploring hip-hop in her teenager. When she was in college, she was focusing on studies, concentrating in women's and journalism. In a short period during which she lived in Beijing as well, she was also studying Mandarin. It wasn't until after graduating that she shifted her focus towards music. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet during 2012. It eventually made it on her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. This album also featured popular hits that went viral, such as body positive Queef or the winking city tour in NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly to her other venture, Awkwafina's NYC guide to traveling published in 2015. With musician and author among her accomplishments, she determined to pursue the role of a third-party actor. As well as early shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she was able to land breakthrough role in a few notable films, including Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by"At Fina We Trust in June of the year.
