
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress also known as a media personality and singer. She has been an adjudicator in Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. She also hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her youth in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden also has TV credits that include three series with Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham in the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes on ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield, and a special Agatha Christie episode "4.50 from Paddington" for Boxing Day. Co-starring alongside Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama.
