Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country music and songwriting, gained fame in the world of television when she was Alex in the last three seasons on One Tree Hill. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country music artist. This helped her album make it to the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. In the last decade, she was a guest in Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as various TV shows. The singer also released a few singles that did not appear on albums. Although she pursued an acting and recording career but her first screen appearance took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. Kramer played on 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. There, she played Alex Dupre. Her appearance on the show until 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer was a part of the cast of One Tree Hill from 2009 until 2012. Kramer was a signer of an agreement in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country song I Won't Give up in a One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The track later appeared on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track ranked fifth on Billboard Top Country Albums. Kramer remained focused on her music career without quitting acting, and starred in films that appealed her fans such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and her duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach third place in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing 4th. In the same year, she had an adult-oriented hit song featuring Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
